2. WINNER SELECTION/NOTIFICATION/VALIDATION: On or about December 30, 2020, one thousand (1,000) winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period and in accordance with these Official Rules.  Proof of transmission is not proof of receipt. Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for each Sweepstakes and determines the order of receipt of entries. All decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding with respect to all matters related to the Sweepstakes.  The winners will be contacted by mail using the address provided on the Sweepstakes entry page. Noncompliance with these Official Rules or the return of any prize may result in disqualification and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate potential winner may be selected by Sponsor at random or based upon Sponsor’s records of the next fastest entry received, in accordance with the offer. Prizes will be fulfilled approximately two (2) to four (4) weeks after winner selection. Any winner later determined to be ineligible may be required to return his/her prize. Any taxes on prize are the responsibility of the winner. If (a) a prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to a potential winner, or (b) a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, then such person shall be disqualified and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, an alternate winner may be selected for the prize in question.

3. PRIZES AND ODDS: One thousand (1,000) prizes are available each consisting of a $500 Barnes & Noble College Gift Card. These prizes are the only prizes available. Total Prize Pool is $500,000. Gift cards are subject to separate terms and conditions imposed by issuer. No transfer, substitution or cash redemption will be awarded in lieu of stated prize except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of equal or greater value, in its sole discretion, for any reason.  All prize details are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received throughout the Entry Period. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.
